YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Let me introduce myself. My name is Jessica, and I am the sister of Alicia Lasaga, the owner of Autism Worldwide. I am naturally excited about Autism Worldwide as a proud sister, but I am so much more than that. If you are reading this, you are likely someone seeking help and guidance for a loved one with autism, and I want you to know, I know everything you are feeling. You see, my currently two-year-old son was diagnosed with autism only two months ago. I consider myself very lucky to have a BCBA for a sister who could from a very early age advise me on assessments and evaluations my son would benefit from, which all led to an early diagnosis, and with that, early intervention services. I am well aware that not everyone is this lucky. However, if you are here reading this right now, you are already on the path of getting your loved one all of the help they need to help them achieve a fulfilled life. Please look out for more blog posts on here as we all embark on this beautiful albeit messy journey caring for our amazing loved ones.
